Signatures No Longer Required

Due to changes instituted by credit card companies some time ago, customer signatures are no longer required to complete a credit card sale. As of November 15, 2022, I.N.H.A. management has made the decision to no longer require that a customer sign a copy of the receipt to complete a sale.

The Quickbooks POS system will no longer print out two copies of a receipt… only one. You may give the receipt to the customer if they want one… if they don’t, you can throw it away (not recyclable). We do not need to keep a copy.

We do, however, still need the Report, Payments, Activity Summary, at the end of each day. Please remember to print that report (with the correct date for “today” on it) and place it in the top (overflow) drawer in the office safe at End of Day.
