The Utah Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for lane restrictions and travel delays on US Highway 40 starting as early as Aug. 24 as part of a project to resurface a 10-mile section of the highway from Naples to just east of the Green River.
In addition to the resurfacing work, crews will be repairing the bridges where US-40 crosses the Green River and Ashley Creek.
Drivers should expect travel delays associated with one-way traffic conditions Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Access to properties and businesses will be maintained as much as possible. At the same time, crews will need to temporarily restrict access to accommodate the construction work.
