Friday, October 30th, is our day to count the inventory. At the Quarry Visitor Center, things can be counted in the storeroom and the postcard cabinet on the day before, Thursday–then we can start counting in the store fairly early on Friday. It doesn’t take very long with everybody dividing up the room
We will bring some kind of treat for everyone and when the counting is all done and we’re sure we haven’t missed anything, we should be way before the regular closing time.
This is critical at this time of year to get everything back in line and make sure our numbers are correct… and the straighter the store is that day, the easier it will be.
