Quarry Exhibit Hall will temporarily close in Fall 2025 for road, sidewalk, and parking lot work

Dinosaur, Colo. – The National Park Service announces a major road, parking lot, and sidewalk reconstruction project in the Utah portion of Dinosaur National Monument for 2025. To conduct the work safely and efficiently, the Dinosaur Quarry Exhibit Hall will temporarily close to all visitor access from September 8, 2025, through late October 2025.

RIVER LOTTERY ALERT!

The annual lottery for non-commercial river trip permits runs from December 1 through January 31. Get your applications in now for your chance to float the Green or Yampa rivers. Camping fees to increase at Dinosaur National Monument beginning January 1, 2025

This modest increase in fees will allow us to continue to protect, preserve and share the special places here at Dinosaur with current visitors and future generations,” said Dinosaur Superintendent Phil Akers. “After soliciting input from the public and carefully considering the impact of a camping fee increases on visitors and community members, we came to the conclusion that this is the right course of action to improve facilities and services important to visitors.
