Dinosaur National Monument Update:
Colorado Side:

Canyon Visitor Center: Open select Saturdays and Sundays, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, until May 19, 2025, when daily operations begin.
Utah Side:

Shuttle Bus Service: Starts May 3, 2025, between Quarry Visitor Center and Exhibit Hall, running every 15 minutes from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays only… until May 17th when it will start running 7 days per week. Visitors with accessibility needs or pets may drive their own vehicles behind the shuttle bus through the gate.

Parking Notice: During shuttle hours, avoid parking in the shuttle bus turnaround behind the Quarry Visitor Center.

Federal Highways Project at Dinosaur National Monument:
The Federal Highways Project, starting at the Utah park entrance (cattle guard near the INHA office), will begin soon. Surveyors and pre-construction crews may be visible in the coming weeks. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.

Construction Impacts:

Flaggers will manage traffic as needed, with delays expected once construction starts.

Most delays should be 15 minutes or less, though up to 30-minute delays are possible per the contract.

Speed limits will be reduced in construction zones.

Expect potential traffic congestion at the cattle guard and fee booth, requiring increased caution.

Safety Reminder: Drive slowly, stay alert, and be patient. The project is expected to continue through late October 2025.
Fossil Butte National Monument Visitor Center Hours:

Operating Season: Open now through June 1, 2025. Note: Significant repairs and new building construction may shorten the 2025 season.
