Inventory Count – October 31st

Good news! Friday, October 31st is our next day for counting inventory. We will do it during the afternoon so everyone can plan to leave at the normal closing time.

So, please be careful in keeping everything straight and orderly. T-shirts, especially, need to be straightened, properly folded and sorted accurately so that it doesn’t take an hour just to do the shirts.

Somewhere between 25-50 is plenty for the majority of postcards in the spinner rack. Some of the slow-selling cards could be maintained at less than 20, but they need to look good. People won’t take the last one or two, as a general rule… so there should probably be at least ten in a slot, if possible. Most importantly, postcards, bookmarks, etc., should be in bunches of 25, 50, or 100 in the backroom… with a label, so they are super easy to count.

The backroom, including the postcard cabinet in the office, will need to be counted and recorded that Friday morning, before we do the store count in the afternoon.

What kind of treat (or trick) would you like for counting?
