Hey everybody! I want to let you know that the food trucks are now gone and no longer available. We are sorry to see them go but it just has not been financially feasible from a business point of view. It may work better when (and if) they are able to be in the park… maybe in the parking lot next to the VC where visitors can walk by. We wish them luck in their future ventures!
In the meantime, Donnie’s (in Jensen) is 8 miles from the Visitor Center, or the Basin Market (Sinclair Truck Stop) is about 11.5 miles… both toward Vernal, and the Subway/Maverik intersection in Naples is 15.4 miles [all via U.S. 40].
Please spread the word amongst park staff and INHA employees. It seems that many, many visitors ask about food and wish food was available… but they seem to mean, “I wish there was food available right here!”, and aren’t as interested in making a drive to get to it unless they are going on to their next destination… and stopping on the way into the park usually seems to be out of the question because they are pressed to make a reserved ticket time or get to scheduled programs, or whatever.
