Days of ’47-Pioneer Day

Friday, July 24th will be a Utah State Holiday… commemorating the arrival of the Mormon pioneers into the Salt Lake valley in 1847.

Many people are off of work. Some businesses are closed… including some banks. And lots of people will be out on the road celebrating. Fireworks (not on federal land) is even a thing.

Smile. Wash your hands. Keep your distance… and have a great weekend. In about three weeks things will begin to slow down considerably with some schools starting up and vacations for families will be winding down.
