I was recently informed by the Park Superintendent about an INHA employee who reportedly does not wear a seatbelt while driving in the monument.
As INHA employees, we are required to follow all traffic laws, especially with the upcoming large-scale construction project. Safety is our top priority and cannot be overlooked. We have a responsibility to protect ourselves, our Park Service colleagues, visitors, and construction workers by remaining vigilant and driving defensively. Carelessness could lead to serious injury or worse.
Thank you for your commitment to safety by:
- Wearing your seatbelt at all times, whether driving or riding, in an INHA or personal vehicle.
- Slowing down and maintaining a safe distance.
- Waiting patiently in line when necessary.
