Tours at the Flaming Gorge Dam Visitor Center will end for the season on October 15, 2014. With that, the Visitor Center will close down for the winter season. They will both start up again on March 15, 2015.
Visitors may read the interpretive signs along the parking lot and at the pull-outs on either side of the dam… but, they cannot walk out on the dam or stop in their vehicle on the dam.
Ashley National Forest will keep the Red Canyon Visitor Center open on weekends for a few more weeks… otherwise, forest information will be available at the Vernal and Manila offices.
